Crochet Know-How is ideal for crocheters who are confident with the very basics of crochet but who now want to know more and start to take the next steps towards making more adventurous crochet projects.
This fairly intensive workshop will cover shaping, using colour, textural stitches, lace stitches, borders, edgings, flowers, leaves, working in the round, squares, circles, finishing techniques, sewing up, embellishing, understanding patterns, following charts and choosing the right yarns. You will also start to make a crochet project for the home – either a decorative posy of flowers, a cushion cover or a door stop.
Students must be familiar and confident with the very
basics of crochet such as making a foundation chain
and working double, half treble and treble crochet
stitches and would have ideally completed the
Learn to Crochet taster day.
