Crocheted Betsy Butterfly Toy

Butterfly-blogLovely, sweet little Betsy Butterfly is the latest addition to my shop and she is now available as a pattern for you to buy and download.

Betsy is not only soft and cuddly, but is really quick and easy to make. As you will only need about 25gms of yarn to complete her, she is an ideal project for using up odds and ends of your favourite yarn.
I have crocheted Betsy in the lovely Riihivilla Aarni pure wool, but of course you can use any weight of yarn that you like (just remember to follow the manufacturers suggested tension). Make a larger Betsy by using a heavier weight yarn or an even smaller Betsy by using a lighter weight yarn.

The choice is yours — happy Summer crocheting!

  1. Lucinda,

Just want to say that you bring me Joy every time I open one of your books. I have all of them except Northern Knits. I am saving up for it. Love everything about your designs.

Looking forward to a new book,

    Your biggest fan,

    Lillie
